Inspection of charging installations for electrical vehicles (EV)

Aiming to reduce CO2 emissions, , the European Union has adopted a number of measures aimed towards promoting electric vehicles . Resulting in a significant increase in sales of electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as is a need to charge vehicles using appropriate infrastructure chargers in various parts of the national road as well as the urban network.

TÜV HELLAS, has responded to the continuous-increasing needs for the installation of more chargers, by developing a suite of services, monitoring the safe and uninterrupted operation of charging stations for electric vehicles in accordance with the requirements of law 4710/2020 "Promotion οf electric mobility and other provisions". These services include:

- Review of the technical characteristics of the chargers

- Review of the electrical design of the installation based on the technical characteristics of the chargers and the applicable specifications

- Inspection of appropriate power supply and appropriate surface

- Inspection of electrical infrastructure and electrical panel at the chargers installation site, in accordance with the requirements of the standards for electrical installations (ELOT 60364, IEC 60364-6)

- Inspection of charger’s installation for mechanical protection and for the protection of users

- Confirmation of good charger operation
